Hon. Gord McNeily

Hon. Gord McNeilly is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Charlottetown-West Royalty in Prince Edward Island, representing the district since April 23, 2019. He is a member of the Liberal Party of Prince Edward Island and serves as the third-party critic on various issues including wellness, social development, housing, justice, public safety, and the status of women. McNeilly is also the house leader for the Liberal caucus and chairs the Standing Committee on Health and Social Development.

Before his political career, Gord McNeilly was a successful entrepreneur, owning two small businesses in Charlottetown—a fitness and wellness business and a landscaping business. He has extensive experience in coaching, fitness training, and motivational speaking. Additionally, McNeilly has been an active community leader for over 20 years, contributing to numerous non-profit organizations and community initiatives. He has held roles such as the provincial fundraising chair for the United Way and a director of the Lennon Recovery House.

McNeilly holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of New Brunswick and is bilingual, contributing further to his role as a communicator and community advocate.
